Ive walked in your shoes…
There are some days when I read posts or listen to conversations from friends and think to myself, it wasnt that long ago that I had some of the same problems as they. Only difference is I managed to cut out the parts of my life that were pulling me down, or injecting too much drama into my life. As much as it sucked and pained me to sever some of these ties, the benefit has paid off. Working to become a better buddhist has really helped. Just being aware of my actions and of those around me. This isnt meant to be a religious post, just one that I hope may reach people who’s shoes I were in once before. It gets better but sometimes you have to let the things you hold dear the most go to change your status quo. Take risks, live life.

The Buddhists say if you meet somebody and your heart pounds, your hands shake, your knees go weak, that’s not the one. When you meet your ‘soul mate’ you’ll feel calm. No anxiety, no agitation.
